Arrival by Car
(Attention: Taking the car please note that Heidelberg being urban environmental zone only vehicles with a green sticker on their windscreen are allowed to enter Heidelberg)
Take the A 5 to “Heidelberger Kreuz” or the A 6 to “Mannheimer Kreuz”. Turn off towards A 656 direction Heidelberg. This motorway ends at the entrance of Heidelberg. At the end of the motorway take the left lane and then use the right lane of the two. Follow this lane in direction “Ernst-Walz-Brücke” (bridge). Please get into the right lane which leads you in a bow onto the bridge (direction University and Hospitals Neuenheinmer Feld). Now cross the Neckar river and drive straight ahead until the second set of traffic lights after the bridge. Here you turn to the Mönchhofstrasse wich is between a Shell petrol station and a school. The 7. crossroad ist Erwin-Rohde-Strasse, which branches off to the left. Please turn into Erwin-Rohde-Strasse. You will find our hotel on the right side of Erwin-Rohde-Strasse number 8.
Arrival by Train
Outside the Heidelberg train station you will find stops for busses and trams. All tickets for the trams and busses must be purchased from a ticket vending machine in advance. Now you can reach our hotel from two different directions: by tram: take No. 5 in direction Bismarckplatz.With this tram you pass the Neckar river after leaving Bismarckplatz. Please leave the tram at Kussmaulstrasse station. From that station you will have an appx. 2 minutes footwalk to our hotel. On the left side and straight ahead you will see 2 churches. Now walk into Weberstrasse in direction of that church that can be seen straight ahead. At the next corner of Weberstrasse turn left into Erwin-Rohde-Strasse. You will see our hotel on the left side.
Going by bus, take Nr. 32 in direction University Campus and hospitals. The bus crosses the Neckar river and drives through the University Campus. In the range of the Heidelberg Zoo the busses number will be changed to No. 31. Here you drive on without transferring until Mönchhofschule. Please leave the bus now and walk in the same direction the bus goes. Turn left at the second crossroad into Erwin-Rohde-Strasse. You will find our hotel on the right side.

Then turn into Wielandstrasse, (do not follow Jahnstrasse until its end, follow the bow). On the left side of Wielandstrasse you find a litte playground and a park. At the end of the park you turn left into Gerhart-Hauptmann-Strasse. Our apartment house is in Gerhart-Hauptmann-Strasse No. 17. Parking lots you will find on the right side opposite the apartment house.
Arrival by train
Outside the Heidelberg train station you will find stops for busses and trams. All tickets for busses and trams must be purchased from a ticket vending machine in advance.
Take bus No. 32 in direction University Campus and hospitals. The bus crosses the Neckar river, turns left after the bridge in direction University Campus and then stops immediately at the station Jahnstrasse. Please leave the bus here. Don’t follow the direction of the bus but walk back to the four-lane road Berlinerstrasse. Cross this street at the pedestrian lights and turn left while walking so that you walk in parallel with Berlinerstrasse. At the next corner turn right into Gerhart-Hauptmann-Strasse. You will find our apartment house in Gerhart-Hauptmann-Strasse No. 17 on the right side.

Shortly before the bridge turn right which will lead you in a bow onto the bridge (direction University an Hospitals in Neuemheimer Feld). You will cross the Neckar river and go straight ahead until house No. 38 which is directly at the shell station.
Arrival by train

Take tram No. 24 in direction University Campus and hospitals (the final station of the tram is this direction to Schriesheim). The bus crosses the Neckar river and drives along Berliner Strasse. Please leave the bus at Bunsengymnasium. Follow the Berliner Strasse for appx. 70 meters and you will find us on the right side in No. 38 behind the shell station.
